It’s been a loooooooong winter… #BlameItOnCovid
But Spring has finally sprung and it’s time to get your spring wardrobe sorted.
1. The Tie Dye Print
You may or may not have noticed that the 80’s is making a comeback so needless to say you wil be seeing a lot of tie dye everywhere!
StyleTip: Although tie dye is making a comeback this does not mean you have to wear it like your mother did!
2. The Drawstring Shorts
Summer = Shorts!
My main criteria for shorts:
- Elastic waist
- Loose-ish fit
- Cool print
StyleTip: Pair your printed shorts with a plain top, vest or T-shirt, slide into some sliders and you are good to go.
3. The Plain Top
The main reason to keep your wardrobe well-stocked with plain tops is for the huge variety and versatility they add to your style. Ideal for layering in the colder months, and equally chic and comfortable in warmer weather, the plain top can be the foundation for every outfit in your closet.
StyleTip: Pair your plain top with leopard- or floral prints.
4. The Wildest Print Of Them All
Leopard print is here to stay! Why do we love it so much? It’s the quickest way to look super stylish, that’s why!
StyleTip: I always suggest pairing leopard print tops with black denim, dark jeans, neutral colored shorts or even leather pants. If you need a jacket, go for a simple black blazer, cardigan or leather jacket.
If you wear a leopard print dress, (like the ones below), keep your accessories simple!
6. The Maxi Dress
A maxi dress means you don’t have to worry about your shirt coming untucked, a button gap in your blouse, or anything riding up when you sit down. It’s literally got you covered.
7. The Jumpsuit
Like it or not, but this onesie clothing staple is everywhere right now. You might be a bit nervous, if you have never worn one before, but you should not be nervous about it. This garment can be totally feminine, summer-ready and sophisticated, all you need is to find the right cut and style for your body shape.
How cool is this super stylish tie dye jumpsuit?
9. The Shoes
Comfortable from the moment you put them on your feet. Dress them up with almost anything!
StyleTip: Make sure to wear your rose gold leather vellies with pretty summer dresses for a right on trend look!
